In keeping with my usual minimalist approach, I’ve once again decided to donate to a charity rather than spend money on Christmas cards and gifts. This year, I’m again supporting WaterAid, an organisation dedicated to providing clean water and sanitation to communities in need.

We are currently facing not only a climate crisis but also an unprecedented water crisis. Across the globe, temperatures are rising, leading to increasingly extreme weather events, which in turn result in either excessive or insufficient water.
In addition, nearly one in ten people worldwide currently lack access to clean water close to home. You can learn more about WaterAid’s vital work or make a donation on the WaterAid website here.
